Ed is the CEO and Founder of EAB Investment Group.
Prior to founding EAB Investment Group, Ed co-founded DC Trading Partners LLC in 2005.
DC focused on volatility correlation, dispersion, event trading, and ETF arbitrage. DC developed proprietary trading methods, analytics, and market making algorithms. Before DC, he spent three years with the Goldman Sachs SLK-Hull Derivatives Group, where he was the portfolio risk manager for the internet, hardware, media, mining, telecom, and energy sectors. He also managed and developed SLK-Hull’s proprietary risk portfolio. Previously, Ed spent 10 years with TFM Investment Group. In 1995, he created and managed TFM’s American Stock Exchange options specialist unit and ETF arbitrage group, as well as served on TFM’s Senior Risk Strategy Committee. Ed served on the Technology, Allocation, Specialist, Floor Official, and Floor Violations Committees of the American Stock Exchange. He has deep experience trading derivatives and has been a member of the American Stock Exchange, Philadelphia Stock Exchange, CBOE, Boston Options Exchange, and the ISE.
Ed received a B.S. in Finance and Economics from Pennsylvania State University and holds Series 4, 7, 63, and 66.

Jim is the President of EAB Investment Group.
Jim is the President of EAB Investment Group and serves as one of the portfolio managers for the Easterly Hedged Equity Fund. He also leads the quantitative research efforts supporting EAB’s consulting business, which provides strategic guidance to hedge funds, family offices, and RIAs in developing hedging and alpha-generating strategies. With over 38 years of experience in equities, futures, and derivatives trading, Jim brings deep expertise in systematic strategies and risk management.
Prior to EAB, Jim co-founded RB Derivatives LP in 2006, a firm specializing in mean reversion equity trading and earnings event arbitrage. At RB, he designed proprietary algorithms and automated execution through internally developed trading software.
Jim began his career as a co-founder of Heard Trading, LLC in 1988, a Philadelphia-based proprietary trading firm focused on volatility arbitrage in index and equity options. As a key leader in the firm, he oversaw firm-wide risk and business development, growing the team to 60 employees with offices in San Francisco, Chicago, and New York. He also led the firm’s expansion into ETF arbitrage on the AMEX and co-developed an electronic trading platform for pairs, baskets, and single-stock execution, which was later distributed through Fimat.
When Jim is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife Tara and their 4 children playing golf , paddle tennis and squash.

Bill is the Chief Operating Officer and Portfolio Manager at EAB Investment Group.
Prior to joining EAB Investment Group, Bill was a head volatility trader at McGowan Investors LLC. He was responsible for implementing the firm’s strategy in the volatility arbitrage space and deploying the firm’s capital to maximize returns. Before joining McGowan, he was Co-Founder of Volare Capital, a hedge fund that pursued statistical/volatility arbitrage strategies in index and single stock options. Previously Bill was the Head of Portfolio Management and Trading Floor Operations for PFTC Advisors and PFTC Trading.
Bill received his B.S. in Marketing from the University of Scranton.

Global Macro Strategist
Client Portfolio Manager
Arnim is the Global Macro Strategist and Client Portfolio Manager at EAB Investment Group.
Prior to joining EAB Investment Group, Arnim held multiple leadership roles, such as Chief Investment Officer, Strategist, Portfolio Manager, and Client Service and Marketing executive, for several firms. He previously founded a tail risk consulting firm, ASH Strategy, LLC, where he developed a novel, multi-asset hedging approach for institutional, high-net-worth, and family office investors.
Prior to ASH Strategy, he served as a Senior Strategist on multi-asset funds and strategies at Deutsche Asset Management and Scudder. While there, he managed approximately $3 billion of assets in domestic and offshore multi-asset funds. He also founded and managed a multi asset offshore hedge fund at Israel Discount Bank of New York.
Arnim received a B.S. in Economics from Princeton University and his MBA in Finance from Fordham University. He holds his FINRA Series 65 license.
